PoshNails Hand and Foot Spa: Indulge in Mani + Pedi Detox Treatment

As a writer, my day is usually spent tinkering on my laptop or rushing to a press conference or exclusive events. But just like anyone else, I know I needed to make time for myself—to simply relax and pamper. Each week can really get stressful for people like me who's always on the go. Recently, I’ve spent my lunch out at Posh Nails Tomas Morato branch. It's where I could find some solace and comfort, to simply put my feet up and to not care about anything even just for a while. Recently, I’ve spent my lunch out at Posh Nails Tomas Morato branch. Posh Nails is really my fave place to spend time when I feel like having my digits colored or by simply availing of their massage.

Posh Nails Introduces New Manicure and Pedicure Powered by GlutaMAX

Posh Nails Hand and Foot Spa recently had an event held at Plana Forma, Centris Walk in Quezon City. It was an afternoon filled with zest and energy as it had been a Zumba party with the theme "Flashback to the 80's Era". The said afternoon brought fashionable ladies together wearing whatever was considered trendy back in the eighties. Some wore glittery attires, others wore neon colored skirts, bandannas, huge head gears, skimpy tights, midriffs, even ballet tutu skirts. Celebrities LJ Reyes and Bea Binene graced the said event. The said party was organized to launch Posh Nails Hand and Foot Spa's latest products and services, including their signature Whitening Manicure + Pedicure Treatment Powered by GLutaMAX. This new offering will be a available at all 25 Posh Nails branches nationwide.

The said treatment is bound to eliminate stubborn stains from your nails while at the same time keeping your nails and skin lighter, smoother and with a more youthful glow. Posh Nails Whitening Manicure Powered by GlutaMAX costs P600 while if it's for the feet (Whitening Pedicure Powered by GlutaMAX), it's Php675. If you wish to have both hands and feet treated, the bundle treatment costs Php1,275.

The treatment starts with a cup of Nice Day Coffee White that goes with your procedure. The coffee's unique 5-in-1 coffee mix contains glutathione and collagen which are both designed to make your skin supple, lighter and more radiant with continued intake. The amino acids in glutathione had anti-oxidant properties, improves immune system, helps to flush out toxins and carcinogens from the body. Collagen keeps skin hydrated and gives a dewy youthful glow.

Next up, your hands or feet will be exfoliated by our expert nail technicians from Posh Nails Hand and Foot Spa. It will reveal whiter and smoother skin. Say bye-bye to rough and dryness as exfoliation sloughs off dull skin revealing brighter complexion in the process.

Your hands or feet will experience pampering because after the cleaning process, they'll be having a quick hand or foot massage that will leave you feeling more relaxed. Then, it will be followed by the application of Whitening Lotion Powered by GlutaMAX. The product has advanced essences that effectively whitens and smoothenso out the skin. It contains SPF 15, Vitamin B3, glutathione, and Algowhite. It's dermatologist tested and approved so you don't have to worry because it's guaranteed to be safe and effective.

Your nails will then be covered n Cuccio Sicilian Nail Whitening Paste. Formulated for extreme cleansing and nail brightening, the said product works both on artificial and natural nails. It thoroughly cleanses your nail beds, and whitens its free edges. It's no -abrasive so you can be assured that yellow stains can be brushed away as well as stains fro. Dark polish, smoking, colored food and dye etc. It also contains tea tree oil which is considered a natural antiseptic.  After which, you can now pick your polish. With Posh Nails Hand and Foot Spa's wide array of nail polish, there'll surely be something that will caught your fancy. And in no time, voila! You'll be coming out of Posh Nails with a huge smile on your face, knowing fully well what a relaxing day it had been.

Nailcocktales Hand and Foot Spa Blue Bay Walk Review: One Great Indulgence + Pamper Escape

I'm really sort of boyish so seldom will you see me in a salon or spa. But when you've been working so hard for the past few weeks and you know you need to de-stress to keep your emotional sanity, that's when I usually seek refuge in an oasis called a spa. It's my antidote to stress and exhaustion. Pampering myself keeps me calm. Last week, I've had the chance to visit Nailcocktales Hand and Foot Spa at the Blue Bay Walk in Macapagal Boulevard (just a few blocks away from the SM Mall of Asia). I've been yearning to give those tired feet of mine a relaxing and pleasurable break. A known provider of quality nail treatments and hand + foot massages, Nailcocktales also offer cosmopolitan drinks, a selection of wines, rums, sodas and other beverages you fancy.

Finding Nailcocktales Hand and Foot Spa in its Blue Bay Walk branch is a bit tricky. For one, you need to pass by a few establishments and buildings before you'll be able to find their signage. The sad part is that these buildings almost looks all the same, both in color and structures so you really have to memorize them and be keen with details in order to find it.

Located on the second floor, Nailcocktales Hand and Foot Spa had that cozy ambiance that'll make one feel special. Relaxing on their emerald colored princess chair, it felt a lot better than a typical Lazy Boy chair because the chair had that velvety feel. The said chair alone seemed to alleviate my discomfort on my back.

I was surprised to see a wide variety of nail polish colors and brands. From the basic colors, pastel ones, to changing colors, branded ones to organic polish--they seemed to have it all! What I love about their nail polish is that they are Toulene free and Formaldehyde-free too. Reading the words "organic" somehow gives clients an assurance of safety and not to mention very trendy too.

I was surprised to see a lot of options for their services. Eventually, I've settled for the Yummylicious package (worth Php700) which included mani + pedi + foot spa. Nailcocktales has a wide variety of different brands and colors of nail polish. As I've had expected, I had chosen a shade near my all-time favorite color (in what else but purple!) called Chanel Nail in Taboo for my toes and Orly Nail polish in Lollipop. My treatment started with a warm foot soak, followed by a brief foot massage before my toes were scrubbed with a minty and fruity scent then wrapped in plastic.

My feet were soaked in warm water first.
A brief massage during the foot spa.
My toes are being wrapped in plastic after it was scrubbed.

I had enjoyed a superb hands and feet blowout at Nailcocktales Hand and Foot Spa. I like getting my nails done just the way I like it--square in shape and without the hassle of the usual manicure boo-boos. With Nailcocktales, you can be assured that your nails are done by professionals so there's no room for toenail ingrown and other things you usually abhor with nail services.

Here are my nails in Orly Lollipop shade.
My toes in Chanel Taboo shade.
These are my choice colors for my hands and feet.

For metrosexuals, Nailcocktales also offer services specifically for them. While Mommies will also be glad to know that their little girls need not to go far because Nailcocktales Hand and Foot Spa also caters to kikay kids. Services are reasonably priced--you'll be getting the services that you've paid for. So you'll be coming out of Nailcocktales Hand and Foot Spa with a smile, feeling happier and definitely more relaxed just as I did!
