Easy Grocery Mobile App: Convenience of Grocery Shopping at Your Fingertips

Admit it, grocery shopping can be daunting. Yet as moms and household decision makers, we had no choice but to do it so that our families had something to eat. I recently discovered a new mobile app which can be considered as every consumer’s best buddy. Easy Grocery mobile app was recently launched. Imagine doing your grocery shopping without missing out on your favorite teleserye on primetime TV or at the very least, you're allowed to do other stuff like doing your laundry or in m case, writing more articles. Yes, my dear, it is possible with the latest grocery app called Easy Grocery.

Easy Grocery is the latest mom-friendly grocery shopping mobile app

So what exactly is Easy Grocery? Easy Grocery is a location based app where customers can purchase grocery items and have it delivered right at their doorstep. It is practically grocery shopping without leaving the comforts of your home. It’s well-designed and easy to use, it makes shopping for groceries simpler, and it’s available as a universal iOS app as well as in Google Playstore. You can download it for free.

Like most list apps, grocery shopping methods and mentalities can vary quite a bit, so we came up with a few criteria on why we think downloading Easy Grocery mobile app is essential for a great grocery shopping:

  • Easy Grocery is grocery-specific design. For me, a good grocery shopping app needs to make grocery shopping easier. For example, a great app remembers any items that you enter, allows you to easily remove or add items to your cart, create a list of favorite or staple items, and allows you to browse group items into categories or sort your list manually.
  • Quick Entry--When creating a list, it’s important that entry is quick and frictionless. If there are several extra taps involved with adding new items, we consider it a hindrance.
  • Picture attachments--It has an image to an item on the list for easy identification.

The thing is, you could use any list app for grocery shopping, but what I love about Easy Grocery mobile app is their focus on making grocery shopping experience as an easier affair. One of the things that makes this possible is the ability to remember past items, display relevant items as you’re typing, and the ability to create lists of favorite or staple items that you can easily add in bulk to your current list. Yes, this is a niche category of list apps, and that’s partly why it’s so interesting and why they can be a better choice over other list apps.
Mr. Eugene Leoncio, Easy Grocery President and Mobile App Developer
Like a lot of app categories, finding out favorite grocery app is a tough call. There simply isn’t an easy pick here, but we think that the newly-launched Easy Grocery has the best all-around features that most people will love and find useful. Also, it’s an app created by people who are consumers themselves with several years of experience on mobile development and a dedicated development team, thereby providing a fantastic user experience. In short, Easy Grocery makes grocery list creation and shopping incredibly easy.

AFFI stages the 16th Franchise Business Expo

Most of us would want to start our own business but are either afraid to take the plunge. It could be because we fear we may not be successful or we may not be equipped enough. The good news is that there are business mentoring made available for business enthusiasts and those who seriously wanted to start their own business. One of those groups that offer entrepreneurship mentoring as well as other things one needs to learn in order to make success in business is the Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc. (AFFI).

You want a confident mentor who has expertise in the skills you lack. This requires self-awareness, but big names and titles don’t always mean someone will serve as a good mentor. An “industry veteran” can be such a great help, especially early on. You want real “war time” experience where actual work and hustle was required to succeed. We were able to talk to some entrepreneurs who we think are good mentors (or advisors) and you can really learn based on how they share their own experience. The reality is that these good mentors have expertise and/or skills you need.

In a recent media conference on the AFFI’s 16th Franchise and Business Expo which is happening from September 29 to October 1 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, a speaker highlighted the importance of making certain that a large partnership we were working on maintained momentum throughout the early stages of the process. He noted that the difference in pace between larger and smaller companies means you have to work extra hard to push faster to ensure they drive to a conclusion. When working with businesses with more time and resources, it’s your job to maintain a sense of urgency.

From L to R: Mr. Ricardo Cuna, AFFI Board of Adviser; Ms. Tess Ngan Tian, AFFI Board of Adviser; Mr. John Chung, President ; Mr. Sonny Francisco, Chairman of the Board; Ms. Anne Francisco, AFFI Assistant to the Expo Chairman.

It’s much easier to follow through on advice that comes from someone who you respect and they are living proof what you’re doing is possible no matter how impossible it may seem. This also applies to new and existing investors. Our most helpful early investors have been active, working entrepreneurs who don’t need to reach deep to empathize with our everyday challenges. They’ve been through what you have and genuinely want you to succeed as well. This kind of guidance and support is priceless!

Prevent Sickness with Unilab's United Home Products

I don’t know if it’s just because of my age, but I’ve noticed these days that my daily tasks really make me exhausted. We don’t have any house help at home so I had to do all the laundry, prepare and cook our food, do all the household chores, run a few errands for my Mom—all of these, on top of having to write articles and do my job as an online freelance content writer.

Nowadays, it’s too expensive to get sick. That’s why cliché as it may sound but prevention is still better than cure. So apart from making sure I prepare nutritious ad balanced meal for my family, I also discovered the wonders of food supplements. I believe food supplements could help prevent sickness. And when it comes to medicines and food supplements, there’s only one brand that I trust, Unilab’s brand, United Home.

Here are some of the United Home food supplements that me and my family have been taking:

United Home Ferrous Sulfate Plus

Formulation: Ferrous Sulfate Heptahydrate 300mg (equivalent to 60mg elemental iron) Folic Acid 250mcg Format: Tablet Configuration: 10 Blister
Packs x 10 capsules

Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia: prenatal hematinic
SRP: Php3.50/PC

There are times when my body wants to rest and sleep while my brain becomes too eager to write and my creative juices keeps on flowing. It is at these times that my mind usually wins, thus, I would end up working which results to my lack of sleep. Recently, I have even experienced eye twitching due to eye strain and that’s it, lack of sleep.
My physician says I should start taking care of my body since I’m not getting younger. I could have Iron Deficiency Anemia and it won’t do me any good.My doctor recently added Ferrous Sulfate to the many food supplements I’ve been taking. Ferrous Sulfate provides the iron needed by the body to produce red blood cells.

SM Home presents The Essentials of Condo Living

Living in a small space is tough, especially when your decorating options are limited by rental rules and landlord laws. With the rise of more condominiums in the metro, most of us have totally embraced condo-living to the fullest. There’s nothing like living next to the CBD or right next to the shopping malls. It saves you from the hellish Metro Manila traffic and gives you not just utmost convenience but some peace of mind. Undeniably, condo living also has its pros and cons. For one, it has a very limited space, some to the point of having that vibe of living in a shoe box. Of course, you’d still want to call it a home. Designing can be a bit daunting, but fret not. SM Home acknowledges this dilemma. And they are holding the first edition of SM Home’s latest design series, “Essentials of Condo Living” which features how to design your unit’s small spaces. Let these ideas inspire you to make the home (and space) you want.

The brainchild of SM Home assistant Vice President for Marketing, Tom Castaneda, the design series aims to help condo-dwellers to properly maximize their space, in the process making their units more lively. “Since small condo demands creativity when it comes to optimizing their space, SM Home has turned to design experts for help to highlight ways on what our clients should do for condo set-ups from the experts themselves,” Castaneda said during the media presentation held at the concourse of SM Makati.

In line with this, there will be a series of talks which will be happening from September 16 and 17, 2017 at the SM Home in SM Makati. For the Essentials of Condo Living setups, SM Home partnered with four talented architects and designers Maya Franco, Erika Uichanco, Ivy Crisostomo and James Razo. They were divided into two teams to create individual living spaces. Each pair was tasked to work together and combine their assigned areas within the confines of a limited space. Maya Franco and Erika Uichanco were assigned the kitchen and dining room areas, while Ivy Crisostomo and James Razo were given the living room and bedroom spaces to design and style.  Both teams were given free rein to select from SM Home’s full range of condo perfect items from shelves, beds, dividers, tables, and even appliances, storage bins and décor.

Rustan's Supermarket Goodness Gang Body Squad Promo

We all probably struggle to get our kids to eat their vegetables at the dinner table. So it was such a great idea for Rustan's Supermarket to initiate a program to promote healthy eating among children and help us parents to introduce some nutritional veggies and fruits via their Goodness Gang Body Squad promo.

We all know what veggies and fruits provides good nutrients to keep us all in good shape. Rustans' Goodness Gang Body Squad are so cute and cuddly that your kids will surely appreciate and hopefully make them eat their fruits and veggies.

Let's get to meet the Rustans' Goodness Gang Body Squad Members:

Chloe the Cauliflower

Chloe the Cauliflower

I recently received Chloe the Cauliflower from the bloggermail and it was really cute. It did looked like a real cauliflower, with all its color and texture. Cauliflower is a cousin of the cabbage (brassica) and broccoli family. We love eating them with cheesy cream sauce and parmesan. Cauliflowers have roundish heads (about 20cm wide), which are creamy-white to pale cream in colour and look like a fluffy white cloud. When cut in half we look like a dense rounded tree with the main white branch dividing into many small branches which end in a mass of white to creamy-white flower buds or ‘curds’. Cauliflower helps improve our brain health.

It follows the story of Babette, a Parisian fugitive following the 1871 Commune of Paris uprising as she changes the lives of the villagers who take her in. Based on the tale by Isak Dinesen, this Danish film is one that cinephiles shouldn’t miss.

El ángel exterminador (The Exterminating Angel) Spain

Cited as one of the best 1,000 films by The New York Times, Spanish film El ángel exterminador (The Exterminating Angel) is a work of satire, where guests at a dinner party discover they’re unable to leave the room. Over the days that follow, they each slowly shed their perfect façades and pretenses of power to reveal the uglier side of human nature. Sharp and surreal, this is a film sure to leave a lasting impression on viewers.
