Eggs have long been associated with Easter. Easter traditions and symbols have evolved over the years, some even have been around for centuries. The decoration of eggs is believed to have begun as early as the 13th century. The egg may have been associated with pagan festivals but it is a Christian symbol of new life. From a Christian perspective, Easter eggs are said to represent Jesus' resurrection from the dead.
One trivia explains that the tradition of painting the eggs during the Lenten season says that people would decorate and paint on the eggs to mark the end of the period of abstinence and fasting, then eat them on Easter as a way to celebrate.

This is another year where we would be celebrating Easter without all the fun and games for our kids. Since everyone is advised to stay at home, Manila Hotel has come up with a great way to bond with your family this Easter. Yes, parents can still bring joy into their homes with an activity they can do with their kids.
The Manila Hotel offers the “Easter Joy! Mystery Egg,”—a giant egg hand-made from Belgian chocolates that kids and adults alike can enjoy cracking open to discovering what’s inside. Add to that, the Mystery Egg is also the highlight of The Manila Hotel’s “Easter Joy! Raffle” that will be held on April 5, 2021 at 2pm via Facebook Live (@TheManilaHotel).
