|The 9th Studios Creative Hub welcomes you with a smile|
Have you ever been to a place where you can actually harness and develop your potentials and discover talents you never even knew you had? It's the kind of special place where you know great things
would actually start from small beginnings. I personally believe that one of
the biggest hurdles an artist usually encounters is finding a space to work their magic in. I recently stumbled upon The 9th Studios Creative Hub along
Arnaiz Avenue in Makati City. The 9th Studios Creative Hub is a
multidisciplinary studio that operates at the intersection of art, designs and
the environment. Its mission is to create a space in which to exchange, develop
and execute ideas that inspire people to re-imagine the world and our place

The 9th Studios Creative Hub was designed and
built as a vehicle to support all the major art forms as well as other activities. The said studio is
suited to the needs of each creative community. The Creative Hub is composed of two rooms, a dance studio and a multi-purpose hall which are both located on the 9th floor.
They pride themselves in their ability to offer professional creative
facilities at highly affordable prices. Both rooms are ideal spaces for artistic expression as well as corporate activities like seminars, lectures and meetings to suit all price points and creative
mediums. Their goal is to develop a creative community by offering
affordable spaces with the long-term stability that is so often lacking for
artists in the metro.

I learned that the 9th Studios Creative Hub opened its doors to the public last January 2019. But this early, I am no longer surprised why it is fast becoming a favorite place for various activities from fitness to dance, to art events as well as theater rehearsals.
Two months after their opening, the Creative Hub has been actively promoting its regular Fitness activities for both beginners and fitness aficionados. The sessions include Dance Fitness, Pop, Jazz, Hip Hop and Yoga classes.

Recently, International Talented Brazilian Watercolor painter Eudes Correia was flown in by the organizer of the event, who's incidentally also an artist herself, Ms. Sarah Ongsun to hold a 3-day water color painting class which was held from March 7 to 9, 2019. Ms Ongsun said she personally chose The 9th Studios Creative Hub as the venue for her event. The Sunday after, March 10, the 9th studios sponsored their venue for a demo painting session of Eudes Correia. The artist himself immediately loved the place because he says the people are friendly and he liked the combination of warm and bright lights which according to him makes it easier for painters to mix and match their colors properly.

For those who aren't familiar with Eudes Correia, he is a popular watercolorist settled in Lisbon. He started very young as a graphic designer and illustrator but currently devotes most of his time doing what he says he loved the most--using watercolor as his main medium. His works are skillfully rendered and deeply thoughtful, they have ab ephemeral quality to them. The textured brushstrokes he makes as paintings almost feel like drawings mark making. With incredible photorealistic detail, he renders particular moments of time that transcend the mundane and place value of moments of stillness.

Aside from painting classes, the creative hub also offer regular classes in Hihop, PopJazz and Pop. Yoga classes are also available. What I love most about this creative hub is that they can also customize dance classes for a group of people as well as offer corporate packages for fitness and recreational activities.
I heard this coming summer is also going to be exciting. They have lined up Capoeira classes as well as Karatedo for the youngsters and adult classes too. Atlantis Productions will also hold their Summer theater workshops here beginning this month of April. So if your kids are interested, I am encouraging you to inquire this early and reserve their slots because slots are limited.

Oh, and get this, they are also open for Spoken word events, Script readings among many other stuff you can do when you squeeze out your creative juices here at the 9th Studios Creative Hub.
Lastly, there will also be an upcoming Painting Party called Brush, Blues, and Booze. It's going to be fun for sure and will only have a fee of Php 3,500.00 per head. It will be held this coming March 29, Friday from 8PM until 12Midnight. It'll be fun for sure. In a stressful world where we all live in, this is what we really need to de-stress and who knows? You might discover hidden talent in the arts! So go ahead and unleash the inner artist in you!
