Nuffnang's Nuffamily Day

It was one of those days that I had to wait for so long. The Nuffnang family day had been postponed for a while because of bad weather. And I had to adjust my family's schedule just to make everything okay and I made sure we're going to be available for the Nuffnang's Family day at Crosswinds, Tagaytay.
Crosswinds welcomes guests with pine scent.

I had always loved the smell of pine trees. It reminds me of my childhood when each time we'd go up to Baguio City, our relatives would always remind us kids to roll down our car's window just so we could get a whiff of the scent of pines. I am happy we no longer had to go through hellish travel for long hours just to get a respite from the hassle and stressors of the city by just a 30 minute to an hour drive to Tagaytay.

Upon entrance, Crosswinds welcomes each guests with sweet smelling fresh pines what with some 20,000 pine trees on the 100 hectare Swiss sanctuary. Its got rolling hills and picturesque views that are postcard perfect, I may say. When we arrived in Crosswinds, we were asked to climb one of the trekking paths where a breathtaking view awaits us.

There were games and surprises. We were all seated on the grass, as if we're having picnics with the sun setting as our background. It was truly a magical day for my family and I. My nephew Kyle joined the hep, Hep Hooray game and he won gift certificates from 7-11.

I love the Pines!

The Tangled movie-experience in flesh!
But what actually thrilled everyone was the lantern lighting where we held paper lanterns and had them up in the air. It was a scene straight out of Disney movie entitled Tangled. Kyle jumped and down and was truly ecstatic about it.
Experimented with my cam using night mode.
Foods, drinks, games and fun overflowed during Nuffamily that all the bloggers went home with smiles on their faces bringing with them doughnuts, pizzas, Del Monte drinks, candies and lots of fun memories to remember by.

Bloggers help each other for the lanterns to float on their own.

Up, up in the air!

Yipee, cheers the crowd!

Packing time for some bloggers while others still makes their lanterns fly.

The Crosswinds Christmas Village.
As if flying paper lanterns wasn't enough, we also dropped by the Christmas village at Crosswinds. We saw snows coming down the chimney. Kids and even kids-at-heart laughed and you could see clearly how it made them happy. Kyle went inside the Christmas village and played with the toys inside Santa's house. Nuffnang and Crosswinds made sure the kids wouldn't go home without giving them a box of candies.

What's more? My Mom and I won an overnight complimentary studio room at the Crosswinds! We'll be back again at Crosswinds soon. It's a promise I made Kyle. And I'm sure, he will continue to talk about Nuffnang's event and paper lantern for quite a long time.

Purple Plum fairy thanks Nuffnang for a very memorable event and for giving me the chance to bond with my family.
