Petron launched the Fiesta Gas 170-gram in refillable cylinders in Luzon—a product engineered to be safe and explosion-proof due to its seamless aluminum alloy packaging.

Following its successful launch in the Visayas last year, Petron Corporation's latest invention in the LPG category, the new Fiesta Gas 170-gram in refillable cylinders, will now be available throughout Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The new product will make LPG more available to houses that currently cook and with charcoal, firewood, or, worse, illegally replenished butane canisters. This decreases exposure to health and safety risks while also providing a more convenient and cost-effective cooking fuel choice because of their portability and simplicity, portable stoves and grillers are becoming increasingly popular among outdoor lovers, as well as restaurants and food outlets. With a reliable brand like Fiesta Gas providing a secure, refillable cylinder, more users can confidently use the product without fear of gas leaks and fire hazards.

The Fiesta Gas 170-gram in refillable cylinders is not only a safer and more cheap cooking product, but it is also environmentally beneficial due to its reusable nature. After purchasing the product, users would only have to pay for the refill. After the contents have been consumed, the aluminum alloy refillable cylinders can be returned to authorized Fiesta Gas dealers and retailers in exchange for a filled cylinder. This ensures that clients always receive the correct quantity and quality of merchandise.

According to Petron Corporation President and CEO Ramon S. Ang, “Petron is a staunch supporter of the LPG Law that strengthens consumer protection. By offering a convenient, safe, and affordable solution, our new Fiesta Gas 170-gram in refillable cylinders protect Filipino homes from unsafe, substandard, and illegal butane canisters that are extremely dangerous.”

The new Fiesta Gas product was officially released in Luzon on June 21 at the Petron service station on C-5 Diego Silang in Taguig City. Petron leaders including VP for Industrial Sales Virgilio Centeno, AVP for LPG Business Andrew Tan, AVP for Service Station Group Michael Flores, and Area Sales Manager for LPG Metro Manila Retail Kristian Paul Dantes were in attendance. The Energy Department.  The Department of Energy (DOE) was represented by Director Rino Abad of the DOE-Oil Industry Management Bureau (OIMB) and Engr. DOE-Retail Market Monitoring and Special Concerns Division's Robert Cardinales (Senior Research Specialist).

During the launch, Dir. Abad commented on the new product's potential. "Petron's introduction of an alternative product for households that still rely on charcoal or illegally refilled butane canisters is very timely." Petron is raising the bar for other competitors that want to enter the small refillable cylinder market by introducing their new product. business. "We hope to see Petron increase its footprint and encourage competition," he said.
